About
Started in 2016, we are a small family business making and exporting high quality, 100% Baby Alpaca clothing garments.
All items are either made using manually operated machines, with certain items being hand-made completely. All the men and women artisans involved in making the clothes are local Peruvians and live and work in the Andes mountain regions of Peru. Individually, they have many years of experience producing baby alpaca clothing garments of exceptional quality, but also are from a long line of knitters and the art and skill has been passed down from generation to generation.
We are wanting to provide a good income for these workers who are have historically worked long days and weeks for relatively small wages to try and make ends meet. LEFEVRE clothing is a For-Profit business, but we will be setting aside 10% of profits to invest into the small, remote mountain communities in sustainable social and environmental projects.
